Photoshop Actions tips

Photoshop 4.0's Actions palette allows you to record a sequence of editing steps as an action list. This powerful feature enables automation and batch editing. Here's how to record a series of steps and use the saved action list on another element of the same image.
Step 1. Open a layered image file in Photoshop 4.0.
1) Turn off all layers except the layer for shadowing, the "Hi" layer.
2) Open the actions palette. Turn off button mode. Create a new action, called Object Shadow.
3) Click Record.
